Beam 4K Patent Pending homogenizes multiple sources of meeting schedules into a master calendar.

Beam 4K, Inc. (Chagrin Falls, OH) identifies a way for software to gather meeting schedules from multiple calendar or online meeting software applications in a new Patent Pending claim, “Single-point calendar of scheduled virtual and/or practical meetings originating in multiple disparate software application sources.“ This is intended as a cure for applications that don’t “talk to each other” (natively integrate their schedules) and a fix for those times when people miss meetings or double-book their time simply because it’s so difficult to track all the places where meeting invitations may arrive.

“We’re working in an era that has replaced the kids nagging, ‘Are we there yet?’, with us nagging, ‘When’s my next meeting, and where?’, laughs Beam 4K CEO Martin Winston. “We want our Beam4K™ Pro 24 hardware and software to be able, when one meeting ends, to show its users when and where their next meetings will be. For starters, we had to find documented interfaces or back doors across a variety of calendar and online meeting scheduling applications. We could have just ported those to a simple display command, but we decided it might ultimately be more beneficial to first maintain that information in a master calendar. So, here’s an open invitation to the developers of all those online meeting and calendar applications: we’ll trade you, or work with you, or get the whole gang together to come up with an API for online meeting schedules that we all can use.”

Beam4K™ Pro 24 provides a quality 4K camera behind a transparent glass screen that displays a vivid 4K image and connects to a user’s Windows, Mac or Linux computer over a single USB-C cable. Agile, purpose-designed software manages two separate live video streams, one sent to the meeting and the other to the user’s display. This B2B evolved meeting facility is priced at $20,000, has a 5-year warranty and can help reduce a company’s payroll cost of online meetings by $9,900 per person per year.

Beam 4K, Inc. develops proprietary hardware and software (46 Patent-Pending claims) to make it easier for online meetings to communicate more, communicate better and end sooner.
